The house is full of character (and books), and is a tranquil space in which to read, write, cook, create – and to simply "be". Set on a quiet eco-estate on the fringe of Howick, it is conveniently close to the Ambers, the Karkloof trails, the Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, and numerous cafes and attractions.

MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. Yellowwoods Farm - WILLOUGHBYS COTTAGE

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. Willoughbys has both inside and outside table/chairs & braai facilities - Weber as well as outside braai+'firepit'. WiFi and DSTV.

(You must love dogs as they do sometimes visit our guests) Situated in a four unit family complex, it is completely separate and set away from us in the main house.
