COTTAGE ON THE WILTSHIRE/SOMERSET BORDER-NEAR BATH

Number 16 is a cosy C19 cottage that sleeps 4 adults, plus a baby/infant in 2 bedrooms, 1 king + 1 double. Located in Wingfield village, with a popular pub to walk to, it’s ideal for exploring Bath, Bradford on Avon, and Longleat Safari Park. Nearby train stations offer easy access to Bath. The cottage has central heating. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs (no cats), with gardens at the front and back. Parking for 2 cars is available, and I look forward to offering all guests a warm welcome.

It's a 20 min drive to the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath & 6 mins to the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon with its canals, rivers & station. Delightful shepherds hut in rural location

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic shepherds hut in a vast garden in the village of Hilperton, 30 min drive from Bath & 15 min drive to Bradford on Avon. The hut sleeps 4, a Kingsize below and double on top but preferably only 2 children or 1 small adult on the top bunk. Extra child mattress & sleeping bag under the bed. There is a 5 min walk across a field to the Kennet and Avon canal with beautiful walks in either direction. The hut is situated in a private spot in our family garden.

A lovely private annex in a village location, 1 bedroom with king size bed, bathroom with walk in shower, living room/kitchenette with single electric hot plate stove, fridge, microwave, smart Tv/free sat: complimentary tea/coffee-cornflakes with either porridge or muesli.There is a small patio and parking for 1 car. Stables is a refurbished cottage with attention to detail and a little luxury. Well placed for hiding away; off the road, countryside on doorstep, well stocked local shop opposite, 2 great pubs nearby, many wonderful towns and National Trust sites nearby. The private sun trap garden has Bramblecrest outdoor furniture. Cosy up on the comfy sofa in the lounge and watch movies on the 49” Smart TV or have a lie in and watch the 32 “ Smart TV in the bedroom. Access to an EV charger by arrangement.

Therefore, a “Barnlet” :) Birch Barnlet is 1 of 2 barnlets which are individually self contained or ideal for a group of 2 couples, all set in the gardens of our house. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area! Great base for Bath - a short car or train journey away. Loads of walks, beautiful countryside and close to Longleat (11 miles). Simple, cosy space. Perfect for a couple looking to get away from all things busy...

Dating back to 1818, this beautiful recently renovated barn is the perfect setting for those seeking a relaxing getaway. With lots to do within walking distance including a national trust property, two pubs and a cafe in the village, we are also very close to famous and much visited towns and city’s such as Bradford on Avon (2.6 miles) and Bath (10 miles) if you fancy a day out. A great base for cycling/ walking/ exploring Wiltshire.
