Listed in the Canadian registry of historical places and designed by the prominent Maxwell Brothers Architects for the Ogilvie wheat baron F.W. Thompson. Part of the carriage house and stables building on the estate, the gardeners cottage was the home to the groomsmen and gardeners. In the shadow of the Algonquin Hotel close to Katy's Cove and walk-able to downtown Saint Andrews by the Sea.

The historic Montague Rose boutique Inn is now available for whole house rental. There are 5 curated rooms, each with a private or ensuite bathroom, common room, 40ft deck, .6 acre yard, and an operating cafe on site. The property sits on 1/4 of a town block and is located just minutes walking distance from the downtown street which is filled with restaurants, shops, and a large wharf. The inn is perfect for special occasions but please note there is no full kitchen access.
