Spectacular view over rolling countryside from the upstairs sitting room at Gable View Cottage is one of the best in Bourton on the Water - surrounded by fields yet only a short easy walk into the village. This unique and spacious upside down one bedroom bolthole has lots of walks on the doorstep, a wide variety of great places to eat, sightseeing and friendly pubs. Well behaved dog welcome. A Grade II listed 2-bedroom cottage, in a charming Cotswolds area, steeped in history and character, with original windows, traditional flagstone flooring, stone walls, oak beams and a fireplace. Cotswolds Cottage - with great views and walks

A fabulous, surprisingly spacious, terraced stone built Cotswolds holiday cottage set in the lovely rural parish of Rodborough. We've been busy with guests since completely refurbishing the cottage in 2011 - exposing beautiful stone walls, opening up the views, letting in more light, installing a wood-burner, and generally introducing modern contemporary comforts we like when we go on holiday. Please note we can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (plus babies).

Beautiful upside down cottage in rural location

Light and airy, The Cottage is a converted haybarn built into the gentle slope of the hill. Downstairs there is a sunny double bedroom and a shower room, upstairs a double height open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, sitting/tv area with far ranging views across open fields and a stable door opening out onto the back garden with outside sitting/eating area and mature apple trees. A bridlepath runs outside the window where horses and dogs roam.
