Beautiful home, hot tub, close to wineries, hiking

Beautiful woodland home, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, dogs welcome. The home has an open concept kitchen, wrap around deck, and an outdoor cedar hot tub. It is 10 minutes drive to wineries, race track and beautiful Watkins Glen State Park. Situated on 70 acres of private land with trails marked throughout, surrounded by 9,000 acres of state forest with multiple hiking trails. Very private and quiet. Pets are welcome and there are 3 acres fenced-in around the house for your dogs to enjoy.

Catharine Cottages (# 3 Waneta)

The cottages are delightful with luxury inside and nature outside. This cottage sleeps 2 - 5 with a double bed plus a double futon with a bunk on top. Also: a private bathroom, a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker (with coffee/tea supplied), a welcome basket on check in with local goodies.. Outside there is a covered porch with rockers overlooking a peaceful creek. There is also a picnic table, and a private fire pit as well as a charcoal grill. We supply firewood and charcoal.

Campfire Expeditions

Nestled in the forest of the Finger Lakes Region, surround yourself with nature at this spacious canvas tent site. Only minutes away from all that the Finger Lakes has to offer. You are close to amazing hiking trails, waterfalls and water sports on Seneca lake, as well as, countless wineries, breweries, and distilleries. This oversized tent can accommodate 4 adults easily with the 2 real full-size beds complete with linens. Cots are available for a fee for extra campers. See “other details.

Kim’s Country Retreat/Catharine Valley Trail

Sweet tiny home located beside my home. Enjoy the privacy & the wildlife while remaining close to all the great attractions Watkins Glen & surrounding areas has to offer. The night skies are beautiful from the front porch. Satellite Internet with Roku TV in the living room & bedroom. One mile to She-Qua-Ga Falls. A short drive to Watkins Glen Lakeside Park (4.5 Miles) , W.G Race Track (5.2 Miles), Watkins Glen Gorge Trail (3.4 Miles) & many more great wineries and shops. Pet allowed w/fee.

"Alberts"

Includes a panoramic view of the lake and is close to everything. Situated just 5 minutes outside the town of Watkins glen NY, with a gorgeous view of Seneca Lake. This charming house was built by an Italian architect in the 1920s for his family. Includes 1 spacious bedroom ( downstairs), living room, dining room, huge kitchen, 1/2 bathroom ( downstairs), washer and dryer, and full bathroom. The house is still in the process of being remodeled, so there are a few cracks and blemishes.

Sunny Side Yoga Garden (pink room)

This inspired home is in the heart of the finger lakes near spectacular waterfalls and the rich culture of a Trumansburg, NY. This lovingly restored 1800s home is centered within a beautiful garden and is heated by fire. The gardens change seasonally with an array of beautiful flowers and vegetables which find their way to our urban farm stand. Forestasaurus Glamping

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars in a large canvas bell tent with a real, full size bed. Tucked into the woods, just a short distance from Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine Trail. The shared modern bath house is a short walk from the site with running potable water and a shower. The property is off grid (no electricity) which means excellent star gazing! Linens are provided. The site also has a fire pit with seating for relaxing. See “other details to note”

Catharine Cottages (#1 Seneca)

The cottages are delightful with luxury inside and nature outside. They comfortably sleep 2 - 4 with 2 double beds in one large room. Each cottage has a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker with coffee/tea supplied. We offer a breakfast basket with premium oatmeal, muffins, local cheese & jam, and fruit. Outside there is a covered porch with rockers and a picnic table with a private fire pit and charcoal grill. We supply firewood ($4 a bucket) and charcoal (free).
