Only 50 minutes drive from Adelaide CBD, you have the iconic Willunga Market just 10 minutes away for some fresh produce, before you meander onto the McLaren Vale wine region where you can pick up some quality red wines. Bring these back and enjoy whilst you relax in spa and take in the magnificent beach sunset. Take in a stroll/drive onto Silver Sands, only 2 minutes away.

The Red Shed

It's a smart Shed and it's Red...set on 14 acres in Hahndorf, nestled in the Adelaide Hills. It is quite private with a lovely view. It sleeps 5 comfortably, with 2 queen beds in separate rooms, and 1 king single in the play area. Quaint & cosy inside. I do offer an hour session of grooming, patting and cuddling the donkeys and learning all about them. This would need to be confirmed when you initially book or on arrival and there is an additional charge of $100 regardless of numbers.

The D'Estrees bay Shack is surrounded by the Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park, 45 minutes from the ferry at Penneshaw and 30 minutes from Kingscote. Remote, basic but comfortable and completely off grid with stand alone solar and rainwater. A perfect place to base yourself to enjoy the wonders of the south coast of Kangaroo Island The bathroom is located separate from the main building with well lit undercover access and plenty of room to shower sandy salty kids. We wanted this place to embrace the spirit of adventure, as well as the sense of calm you feel when you have ‘arrived’. Added in 2008, the Cabin was conceived as a stand-alone place, where you can find the peace, privacy & pampering that you desire… & a telescope and compass, should your ‘inner explorer’ decide to emerge!

Originally built by hand in the 1970s and lovingly restored over the past year, this place is a rich, thoughtful one that you won't want to leave.
