A place to relax, watch nature and explore the west coast . Sleeps 2 in either a double or twin beds .

It is a beautiful rural location, surrounded by forests and mountains, with various shops and attractions available within a hour's drive. Lochside Cottage is near many different lochs, woodland walks, and mountains, which all have their own character. It is very quiet and peaceful, and is an ideal waterside retreat.

No 1 Shedock Cottage has been completely renovated inside and out, originally a shepherds cottage it is now a very modern living space. The entrance leads into the living room with a kitchen extension to the rear this follows onto a private sitting area outside at the back of the cottage. The bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobe. There is a bath and shower in the bathroom next to the bedroom. Heating throughout the cottage is electric with flame effect fire in the living room.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

A haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, you only have to step outside the door to see hen harriers, curlews, and sea eagles. The deer go down past the house in the evening to feed on the marsh, joining the otters who live there. It is centrally located for exploring the island in every direction.
