Fisherman's clifftop cottage built around 1890, original beams and wood-burning stove make a cosy retreat. Accommodation is on ground floor: open plan living room and kitchen provide sociable space, bedroom, shower room, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV. Private car parking for one car. The village bay is a sheltered spot to relax, listen to sea; or walk along the clifftop path to beautiful golden sands and Cruden Bay Golf course. Shops, pubs, services 3 miles. Old schoolhouse in the countryside

Cosy, homely, private cottage in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. Light the log burner and sit back to relax. The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive. The garden is large and you have full run of the whole premises during your stay. There are some lovely walks from the house.

Bram Stroker himself holidayed in Cruden Bay back in the late 1800's and many believe that the Local Slains castle inspired Dracula.
