This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a Ranger Retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting, hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you

The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home, including a very comfortable Sealy memory foam king mattress. There is a big Ingles and several restaurants nearby. Chimney Rock and the lake (Lake Lure) are under repair and closed for the season. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.

WIFI and cell service can be spotty at times

5 Minutes from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, North Carolina, 15 minutes from TEIC. 45 minutes from Asheville.The Grain Cottage has a rustic cozy feel yet updated with modern conveniences. Bathroom with standup shower. Air condition with heat and air, ceiling fan. Queen size bed, Mini fridge, microwave, sink, countertop area. Vintage dresser. Overlooks several different pastures with goats, highland cows, and chickens. Meander around the farm, visit the animals. Enjoy a little bit of heaven.

Our sweet retreat

Our Sweet Retreat sits down hill from the main road. With a private paved parking area. The house sits approximately 12 steps below parking area with large wrap around porch. The main living area is open with vaulted ceiling. There are two bedrooms on the main floor and a full bath . Upstairs is a small loft and master suite with full bath, fireplace & private deck overlooking the lake. There is a large stone fireplace on the North end of the cabin and a covered deck on the lakeside.

Foothills Caboose - NC wineries! 5 mins to TIEC

NC Foothills. Mins from TIEC & 4 wineries. 50 mins from Asheville & Blue Ridge Parkway! Newly renovated 270 sq ft historical caboose, bursting with character and amenities! It traveled thousands of miles before coming to us! Imagine the stories it would tell if it could talk! Placed on rails, in a wooded hill, surrounded by acres of family land. Secluded yet super safe! We live ~ 400 yards away. Can be booked with our other Airbnb for extended family/friends getaway! Just ask us!
