It's secluded yet 40 minutes to Grand Rapids. Lake Michigan is 55 minutes away. Rockford is 20 minutes away, you can find quaint shops, rent bikes for White Pine Trail, rent canoes to canoe the Rogue River.

Additional overnight guests over 2 are an extra charge. Max of 2 visiting vehicles in the driveway. 15 minutes to scenic parks for hiking, skiing, and golfing in Ada or Lowell. Bird watchers can enjoy a family of Bald Eagles close by. 30 minutes to Grand Rapids. House rules include no pets and no smoking.

This unique vacation bungalow is called The Loon's Nest and it's situated on 2 over-sized, adjacent lots. The lake & sandy beach are in front of the renovated mid-century bungalow; and behind it there is a SEASONAL BUNKHOUSE in the woods which overlooks a vernal pond that is home to a wide variety of birds & other wildlife.

The home is on Silver Lake, which is one of the premier lakes in the area. Only 15 miles from downtown Grand Rapids and 5 miles from quant and charming downtown Rockford. Updated in 2022. About 2000 sq. feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a 4-season porch. Large sandy beach with a paddle boat, 2 stand up paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and a nice 2021, 20-foot pontoon boat available for rent. The place is great for families, romantic getaways, or business travelers.
