Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. Located in the centre of Inveraray only steps from the water, it is just a moments’ walk from the Jail, as well as all the local amenities including bars, restaurants, and shops, not forgetting Inveraray Castle. Inveraray itself is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow. The town is a gateway to the Highlands & Islands and provides a great base for day touring.

Converted former byre in bucolic surroundings. Located just outside the village of Strachur, it is an ideal stop for anyone walking the Cowal Way and is close to the unexplored mountains of Cowal and the beautiful Loch Eck and Loch Fyne. The little cottage shares a garden with the main house (where I live most of the time) and is set amongst mature trees, rippling burns and abundant wildlife including chirruping birds, red squirrels and pine martens. A lovely place to unwind and relax.
