Set in a quiet village location,with local pub, mini supermarket and petrol station it is just minutes from the A303 and A37 and an ideal base to use, to tour this lovely part of England. We provide milk on arrival +tea & coffee.

Village location ideal for exploring the area’s many historic and fascinating sites, including Bath, Bradford on Avon, and Longleat. Nearby train stations offer easy access. One well-behaved dog is welcome (message for 2 dogs). Enjoy front and back gardens with seating, a barbecue, and parking for 2 cars. Wi-fi. The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

The Grange at Whatley

This delightful rural property sits in its own grounds of 16 acres, three miles from Frome. The rooms are light and spacious with en-suite bathrooms, a wood burning fire in the sitting room, with a unique kitchen that was once home to a cookery school. Enjoy the tennis court, walks along the river, and the captivating castle nearby. Our local pubs are the famous Talbot in Mells, the George in Nunney, and the Oak in Frome. Monthly street markets in Frome attract from far and wide!
