Wooded &Fabulous Brown County Cabin

Located at the end of a short gravel lane, this spacious cabin is just 2.2 miles from the heart of Nashville- Indiana's quaint artist colony and tourist destination. Though it is easy to get to, you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods, which surround the house on three sides. You can touch the trees from the lovely decks, which wrap around the house on two levels. A garden, featuring various flowering and local plants, meanders down a rock path to the gazebo, which contains the luxury 6-person hot tub! The sweet smell of cedar and mix of antique and plush furnishings welcome your first step inside the cabin, and the wooded views from the full wall of glass doors beckon you to kick back and start relaxing. Spend your day taking in the beauty of the Brown County State Park, and checking out the area wineries, antique and artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Nashville. Or, stay around the house and cook dinner together in the full kitchen or out on the gas grill while watching your friend (or your self!) reel in the catch-of-the-day at the 3-acre lake. Bait can be found under most rocks in the garden-borrow our shovel! Canoe and life-jackets available. In the evening, snuggle-up around the outdoor fire-pit or inside in front of the wood-burning “Brown County Stone” fireplace. If you so desire, turn on one of the flat screen TVs if you don't want to miss your favorite program or the "big game," or opt to pop-in one of our large selections of DVDs. Finally, enjoy the down-alternative comforters and high thread count towels and sheets as you are lulled to sleep by the peaceful rhythms of the woods... Fireflies and WiFi included FREE OF CHARGE! We are happy to suggest things to do/places to eat/local people to meet (or avoid!) OR will leave you to the peace and quiet the magical cabin ensures. Please be aware of this and use caution when using all stairs at the cabin. 2.Being in the middle of the woods, the occasional mouse or bug can make its way into the house. We make all efforts to keep this to an absolute minimum. Please try to keep an open mind, as an occasional meeting of Mother Nature's critters is a small price to pay for her absolute beauty in this pristine location! This reimagined century-old property features a gas fireplace with wood-panel surround, home office workspace, tiled bathrooms, hardwood flooring, and plenty of space to relax. Cook in a refurbished kitchen of quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, and truly find yourself at home away from home. This property includes 2 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen. Parking is available on the street, with no extra cost or pass required. Enjoy your stay in Indy in this beautiful downtown home! Walk in to the living room with working fireplace, HD TV, and home office work space. The couch pulls out into a full size bed, and a miracle (air)bed is stored in the hall closet. Both are equipped with an abundance of cozy extras! Next find yourself in the open concept kitchen and dining area (seating for 6) to enjoy a meal at home or simply morning coffee. Through the kitchen you'll find yourself in the guest hall with a full bathroom (shower/tub combo) and queen bed with over-sized closet. Upstairs is the sun-filled master king bedroom with full bathroom (stand up shower) and closet. I will be as available as you need! I am happy to answer any questions you might have, recommend local restaurant favorites, etc. I want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible! Set in a historic downtown neighborhood, from here's it's only a mile to Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and the Indiana Convention Center. Stroll to numerous other attractions, together with award-winning restaurants and hip cafes. Downtown Indianapolis offers many great methods of transportation! Hop on a Lime or Bird scooter or take advantage of the many Pacers Bike Shares posted throughout the city. If you'd prefer to travel via car, then give a BlueIndy a shot! BlueIndy is Indy's electric vehicle share program - it's the perfect method to get to and from the airport! There is a BlueIndy station and Pacers Bike Share station right around the corner from the house. Additionally, there are plenty of Uber or Lyft drivers waiting for your call!
