Our large yard provides you additional space to enjoy the stunning view. From the first weekend of May-Sept 30th, you will also have access to our shared pier. Enjoy swimming, boating, fishing or other nearby activities: skiing, golfing and ziplining. Beach chairs/toys, fire pit, grill, games and folding chairs are also provided.

There is an outdoor dining set with charcoal grill, and a gas fire pit to warm you up on cool nights, and an additional family room in the loft to play games or relax in front of the TV.

Downtown is a 20 min. walk and the Metra will take you to the city in 45 minutes!

Come relax at Turtle Beach Marina! Rent a Pontoon, Kayak, or even a Wave Runner. Spend the day at the beach and at the beach bar (Beach bar is open Thursday through Sunday until the first weekend in October). Quaint cottage has 2 bedrooms with a full bed in each. Up to 4 people allowed. There is no oven but has a 2 burner electric cook top. A grill is also available. Beach themed cottage is completely remodeled. 💜

The three-seasons porch has floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping views of our gorgeous Petite Lake for morning coffee or a relaxing afternoon. After a long day on the lake, head back to the cottage and end the night with a steam shower/whirlpool tub combination shower.

Dakota's Como Cottage

We love pooches, and behaved dogs under 50 lbs are very welcome. Please include them when making your reservation. We do charge a pet fee with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please bring their beds and refrain from allowing them on the beds and furniture. Paw prints or pet stains on the sheets or comforters will get billed an additional cleaning fee.
