Homely 17th century cottage in the heart of the village of Burgh-by-Sands (6 miles from Carlisle) on the route of Hadrian's Wall. Newly rennovated, the property comfortably sleeps four with two double bedrooms, one of which is complete with an ensuite cloakroom. The whole house is yours, including a spacious kitchen-diner and cosy living room. Located on the Hadrian's Wall walking route (7 miles from the end) and National Cycle Network Route 72, ideally situated for exploring the Solway Coast.
Recently renovated cottage on a working livestock farm, this riverside abode offers the perfect place to peacefully unwind. The Lake District, Solway Coast, Hadrians Wall and the Scottish Borders are within easy reach, with Junction 44 of the M6 being only 5 minutes drive east. Local fishing and shooting can be organised (I have fishing rights to the River Lyne running through my farm also and a outdoor country pursuits store is located it at the very end of my drive!). This is a clean town house right in the centre of Carlisle. You have your own tea and coffee making facilities and your own cutlery and crockery should you wish to cook. There is free super fast fibre internet. The high street is a minutes walk away. The train station is about 10 minutes walk away. There is free parking in the evenings in the disk zone area. Or a pay and display car park is right behind the house. I do not live on the property but I'm local should you need anything.
“Geweldige plek voor een overnachting op de muurwandeling van de Hadrianus; eenvoudig zelf inchecken voor late aankomsten.”
