Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

This detached property, renovated in 2018, is situated in the owner’s magnificent grounds, with outstanding views over the the Chew Valley Lakes. Small, lawned garden with sitting out area, garden furniture and adjacent public footpath to lake. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is right on your doorstep. The property also has Michelin star restaurant The Pony and Trap a short walk away, owned by Masterchef judge Josh Eggleton.

The Cottage is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and we are also dog friendly (1 small/medium sized well behaved dog is welcome!). It is a 3 min walk to Chew Valley Lake & a stroll through fields to Chew Magna with pubs, restaurants & shops. We are on the Sustrains Cycle Way. We are close to Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Wells. On arrival there will be provided a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and water to get you started.
