South Cottage, Orton is a 2 bedroom cottage situated 6 miles from The Lake District National Park and nestled within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Orton itself is very popular and is situated on the famous Coast to Coast route. It has an award winning cafe and a chocolate shop, a monthly farmers market, a village store and a village pub! The cottage is really cosy, pet-friendly and has super-fast WiFi. It has everything you could possibly need to make your stay welcoming, cosy and fun!

The 16 century cottage has been in my husbands family since Elizabethan times . It has a private south facing garden .Beautifully furnished with antique furniture It’s a truly magical little cottage and feels like you have stepped back in time . A deep bath . Log burning stove . Period furniture . What’s not to like. Situated just outside Hawes a 5 minute walk ! Or walk over the field in less time . River walks from the door step . And if you’re lucky you might see the red squirrel’s .

Located on the village square Bear Cottage is in the heart of Ingleton, with cosy open plan living downstairs, 1 double bedroom, tiled bathroom with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, toaster etc, the lounge area has a smart tv with Netflix, Amazon Prime, fast wifi, smart speaker. There are smart low energy electric radiators throughout, a small well behaved dog is also welcome downstairs.

Lane Cottage is a quaint cottage with original features located on a quiet lane away from the main road yet 5 minutes walk into Kendal town accessed over an historic bridge. The train station is a 5-minute walk and main bus station an 8-minute walk. Free parking is available nearby with a 2- minute walk down the lane to the cottage. Around the corner there is an attractive green and church next to the river Kent.
