Private Guest-House in the Redwoods

Our custom built guesthouse was completed in 2016. It is situated on 5 redwood-covered acres, 10 minutes south of Los Gatos and 20 minutes from Santa Cruz. We have easy access to hiking and biking trails, world-class wine-tasting, microbreweries, shops, amazing dining, and more! There is something for everyone in our area! We are surrounded by a 35 acre tree farm, so it's very private, yet close to the silicon valley! Our property has a standby generator so we are not affected by power outages.

Redwood Haven is located in an idyllic canyon between Carmel and Big Sur with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The rustic cabin sits along a creek under the Redwood canopy, minutes from Highway 1. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and an additional Murphy wall bed available when needed. There is a garden area outdoor seating, and the area is fenced in for privacy. Without cell service or WiFi, sink into the bliss of life’s natural rhythms. Rewild yourselves here!

On a narrow paved road, winding through the redwoods, with quick and easy access to Hwy 1. Our main cabin is a 2 bed/1 bath, sleeps 4 people. Open living, dining and kitchen area. Large wrap around deck. Wood burning stove is the main source of heat in this cabin. Smaller studio cabin on property, is rented separately.

Indoors has a modern, well-equipped kitchen, great room, gas fireplace, loft, master bedroom, guest bedroom, two bathrooms. Quality furniture, comfortable beds, stylish sectional, large dining table.

Lots of outdoor activities nearby such as hiking, biking, fishing, beaches and more - all of which landed us a spot on an upcoming episode of the Emmy award-winning TV series, “Staycation.”
