Home by the Mettowee River- Simply the best!

Located near the Mettowee River in the village of historic Granville New York, this home will be the perfect place for your stay. More spacious and affordable than any hotel, this simple home allows you to enjoy the comforts of "home away from home". Ideally situated a quick drive from Vermont mountains and skiing, and a short drive from Lake George, this home is well- suited for vacationing or family trips. We look forward to having you stay when you come to the lovely village of Granville.

Treehouse compound, no cleaning fee

The rental includes both treehouses (toilet in each), cooking/eating pavilion (outhouse nearby), outside shower (cold), firepit. The price is $200 per night for 2 people (my price before commission and fees). Additional guests above the 2 are $30 per person per night up to a maximum of 11 guests during the warmer months and 5 guests total during the cooler ends of the season (June and mid Sept to mid Oct). Beds: 3 doubles, 5 singles. No pets allowed. Not ideal for people with mobility issues.

Unique centrally located, peaceful country chalet between the Adirondack and Green Mountains on 60 acres. Starlink available if your phone doesn't work here. Near Lk George, Lk Champlain, & VT. Hike, fish, swim nearby. Air conditioners on the main floor for the summer months. Our 9120 watt solar array powers our property. During the cold months enjoy the wood stove. All wheel drive a must in winter. We have a spacious deck by the shared pool, pergola, and a shady deck by the stream.

Hillside Cottage @ The Mettawee Retreat

The Hillside Cottage is a luxury cabin with views of the Mettawee River. Located on 26 acres on a back road, it is peaceful & private. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking or relax on the deck. This riverside retreat includes a king bed, jacuzzi tub & a kitchenette. Sitting around the fire pit with dinner cooked on the grill is the perfect ending to a long hike. Whether it’s a quick get-away or an extended vacation, the Hillside Cottage is a simple solution from a complicated life.

Enjoy a break from the daily grind at this lovely tiny log cabin nestled among beech and ash trees. This tiny cabin provides peace and quiet on nearly 4 wooded acres just minutes from the town of Granville, NY. A full kitchen, living room, one bathroom and a loft bedroom complete with stackable washer/dryer provide a place to relax and soak in nature. The spacious front porch grants a protected outdoor space to watch the wildlife and enjoy the fresh air with your family and pup.

Come enjoy a lakeside getaway at, newly constructed, High Oaks Lodge on Cossayuna Lake! Situated 25 miles from Saratoga Springs, NY and 33 miles from Manchester, VT. Amazing views of the lake from the spacious open-concept living room. Relax on the lower deck and make s'mores around the outdoor fire pit. Water access and private dock for your boat just steps away from the house. Use the canoe and kayaks provided to explore the lake.

The Smithy Cottage at Consider Bardwell Farm

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s. Complete with brand-new, architect-designed kitchen and bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, and stone patio for outdoor grilling and dining, the Smithy is beautiful inside and out. Enjoy meeting our goats and all the local goodies and products that we can stock in your cottage.

A 10-acre farm with a cozy 10x20 cabin, one queen-sized bed and one futon. • Proximity to Lake George, West Mountain, Gore Mountain, and Saratoga Springs • Amenities, including WIFI, TV, fire pit, BBQ grill, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, heat, and AC. • Camp has an outdoor handwashing station with running water provided by a hose, an outdoor heated shower, and a porta-potty for bathroom needs.
