The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

Brownell Chalet Studio

1 minute walk to the lift. Private on-site parking. Cozy Studio room is on the ground floor of the historic Bavarian Alpine style Brownell Chalet that has 3 other rental units. The Studio has a private entrance with view of the slopes, Queen bed, WiFi, smart/DirecTv, fridge with freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, microwave, shower. Walk to shops and restaurants. Cid’s Mnt Market and new ice rink across the street. Laundry facilities on request when available.

Enjoy 3 acres of peace and quiet just 2 miles from the Kit Carson National forest and 5 minutes from Taos Plaza. This is an historic property close to nature. We aim to provide quiet, calming, and meditative rooms used mainly for sleeping. Please note, there is no on-site staff. There are no indoor common areas, no microwaves, and no TVs in the rooms. The pool area is reserved for Retreat Rentals, but we hope you will enjoy your room, the fire pit, and the grounds.

Cozy 1BR, on river | at ski lift | on Main St

This room has one bedroom with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa, a separate kitchen and dining area, and a flat-screen 32in TV. This room is on the first floor. Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading trailers. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas for parking, loading, and unloading vehicles from trailers.

If you're looking for the convenience of ski-in/ski-out lodging, your resort in Red River, New Mexico, may be just the ticket. Located at the base of the Red River Ski and Snowboard Area, your resort is just 30 feet away from the nearest ski lift and only three blocks from the ski area's main entrance. In addition to skiing, you can also partake in snowboarding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling.

Sunburst Room

Located 2 blocks from Taos Plaza with a daily gourmet breakfast. This first floor room, enclosed by the original two feet thick adobe walls of this historic Taos residential plaza, combines the traditional elements of sun and earth and provides quiet and accessible dog-friendly accommodations with handcrafted furniture and cozy ambiance. Dog are allowed with an additional fee.

Named after one of Red River's old mines (and our Cross Street) this brand new cabin offers upgraded amenities, while still having the Rustic charm Rio Colorado Cabins is known for.

All trailers have AC and heating units inside so you remain comfortable no matter what the weather brings. Trailers also offer fine quality linens and sheets, bath amenities courtesy of local company Blue Feather soap, silverware and dishes, a French press and 3 ounces of coffee, and Free Wifi
