Really fantastic swedish food and a beautiful ambiance. I recommend making a reservation, but you can always call and see if they can squeeze you in. Good prices for the quality.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Stockholm. Enjoy a fancy pastry and coffee for what swedes call "fika". They have very good sandwiches for breakfast. And they make good salads for lunch.

Small beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food. The staff is super friendly. Make reservations or be prepared to eat very late at night. In the summer, they have a coffee stand in the park!

"Teatern" is a food hall inside Ringen, the mall down the street. It opened Dec. 2015 and boasts food from the top chefs of sweden. Also good beer.

Really great classic Swedish food. Nice white open ambiance. The specials on the board are way cheaper than the menu. I ignore the printed menu.

A great place for fika (coffee and something sweet). Order downstairs for something to eat at home, like a loaf of fresh bread, but go upstairs to have breakfast or fika. Their pastries are amazing.

Pretty good pizza just down the block. Recommend it over Vapiano in Skrapan (across the street). No delivery, but take away is quick. Have a glass of wine at the bar while you wait!

Arts & Culture
The photography museum is very nice. See what the latest exhibit is on their website, but I've never been disappointed. It's not too large; perfect for a half-day. The restaurant is also exceptional.

Indoor playland created by Astrid Lindgren, author of Pippi Longstocking. It can be really crazy on weekends, but it's a great pace for kids. They have some small plays (in swedish).

My son loves this museum. There are tons of old trains and buses for them to climb in, and there's a little train the kids can ride on that runs throughout the museum. It's a half-day activity.

Ridiculously entertaining museum about a sunken ship. Very unique. Not to be missed. Some children don't like it because it's dark inside. Also bring a sweater as it can be cold inside.
