Despite its obvious success, The Deck is out to reinvent itself with its newest addition of The Deck Bar. Set on an adjoining plot of land, The Deck Bar effectively doubles the size of the restaurant anchored by a large oval bar under tented cover for a hip, futuristic vibe. “In D2, everyone goes to D1 for a good night out. You don’t want to leave, but you do,” notes Geoffrey Deschamps, The Deck Saigon restaurant manager.

Its a cute and vibrant little coffee shop on the corner of Thao Dien and Xuan Thuy street. The coffee is relatively cheap but the quality is good. It is a nice place to sit and work or observe the community.

Fresyo is a smoothie place located on Xuan Thuy street in Thao Dien, the decor is very hipster and the space is very inviting. Many people come here for protein shakes or healthy smoothies after a long day at work or a session at the gym. The juices are reasonably priced and they have many options on their menu to cater to your needs.

The Sushi Bar on Le Thanh Ton has been there for ages. The sushi is reasonably priced and the service is exceptional. The staff are very nice. Le Thanh Ton is the place to go for anything Japanese.

At the end of the meal you were given a complimentary limoncello whilst finished the evening perfectly. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I preferred sitting downstairs as upstairs it was quite loud but it was air conditioned so nice and cool. I would go again!

There are helicopters, jets, guns and tanks to look at outside as well as prison cells and torture devices. Inside there are a lot of displays about the atrocities that happened during the Vietnam War including the effects of Agent Orange on the local population. It is a very disturbing account of the effects of warfare.
I think everyone should visit this museum if you are in Ho Chi Minh City. It makes you think more about the consequences of war.

The Bạch Đằng River has been the site of three important battles in Vietnamese history: in 938 resulting in Vietnamese independence, in 981, and in 1288, where General Trần Hưng Đạo employed tactics used in 938 to drive out Mongol invaders.

Located on Nguyen Binh Khiem Street in District 1, T.P. in Ho Chi Minh City, it is home to over a hundred species of mammals, reptiles and birds, as well as many rare orchids and ornamental plants.[1] Also within the grounds is the Museum of Vietnamese History, housing some 25,000 artifacts of history, culture and ethnography of South Vietnam. The grounds also include a monument to Vietnamese people who were killed in World War I. Other parts of the zoo are divided into animal and plant conservation areas, an orchid garden, and an amusement park.
