Good if you want to go to mass, but there's a pub across the road called Fagans that is unlike any other pub in Meath, like stepping back in time. Go in for a pint if you pass it by.

A wonderful seminary makes for a good day trip, and you can visit Carton House estate, now a very fancy hotel with good walks, golf and teas.
