Kings Park is a beautiful and amazing place right in the middle of the city. If you want to walk through the incredible gardens or sit and view the city and river this is the place to visit. There are incredible views during the day or take a picnic and watch the sunset in the evening. This an iconic place for many West Australians with the War Memorial and Eternal Flame. You can also walk across the "Glass" bridge but be there before 5pm as it is closed in the evening.

The beach has also become a favourite spot for Kite surfing as the winds are usually consistent especially in the afternoon in summer and during winter the South Westerly is usually in full swing.
There are many beaches which offer great views and swimming throughout Perth.

Getting Around
