It's a great little hike up to this beauty spot which offers far-reaching views over the city. Particularly good during the day, it's also amazing for sunsets and would be ideal for the amateur photographer. I'd give approximately 15 mins to walk here from the apartment, saving a few minutes if you walk through the train station.
Cholera Monument Grounds
30 Norfolk RdIt's a great little hike up to this beauty spot which offers far-reaching views over the city. Food Scene
Everything is homemade, locally sourced and delicious. Staff are friendly and decor is rustic. It isn't a large cafe, so it can be tricky finding a seat at the weekends when they get busy, but if you can find a corner to escape with a book and a good coffee it's just perfect. Perks: free WiFi.

This is my go-to for American-style brunch/lunch. They do fantastic waffles, pancakes, burgers.. everything you would expect. They also have widescreen TVs showing current sporting events and a wide range of beers on tap. It's a really down-to-earth cool, but relaxed, kind of place. Give it a go.

Featuring exhibitions highlighting the local area and Sheffield's rich history as well as more modern pieces, it's a great way to kill an hour or two. There's a good cafe, too.

Essentials
This store is directly underneath the building and open late (midnight during the week and 11pm on weekends). We use it a lot for last minute shopping and everyday essentials. Its convenience in location and opening times means it's a popular option for our guests, too.
