A 3 MINUTE WALK AWAY! :D Axelrad is one of Houston's most notorious hang out spots, during the day it is really relaxing to have a beer on a hammock or just have brunch, on weeknights they have live music, and movie nights, and on weekend nights it becomes more of a bar. Adjacent to the beer garden/bar is a pizzeria called Luigi's which has excellent pizza, chicken wings and gelato!

13 Celsius is also within walking distance, they have the best wine selection, paninis, cheese plates, s'mores! and an amazing atmosphere. One of my personal favorite spots in Houston for many years!
