Getting Around
A bus stop 1 minute away from the apartment. You will find the bus stop towards the centrum with these instructions: from the front door, turn to left. Walk to the crossing of Kerttulinkatu and Kaarinankatu and then turn left and walk 20 m. The bus will go by Kupittaa train station from the other side of the road. You can buy bus tickets with cash from the driver.

Parks & Nature
A large park in the city centrum. There are lots to do here specially in the summer time. It is possible to hire sport equipment (bicycles, roller skates), go to an indoor sport center (gym, bowling), there are special park area for children and sometimes even free yoga events.

A huge park in an island, where you can see old villas, the sea, boats and ships passing by and beautiful old grove forests. In Ruissalo there are lots of cafeterias, a golf course, a spa, beaches and botanical garden. Ruissalo is easiest visited with public transport, bus number 8.

The best restaurant in Turku. You need to do your reservation well ahead, at least 3 months before. Be sure to take the whole menu when you go, it is worth it. Walking distance from the apartment. You might get a table when you call on the same evening, there can be last minute cancellations.
