Senzu Station, located in the Senzu Area, is the terminal station of the Oigawa Railway, on which steam locomotives operate every day. At the same time, the station is the starting station for a tram line heading to Okuoi. The Oigawa Railway museum is also at the station, where models and parts of steam locomotives are exhibited.

The Ikawa Dam, which dams the upper section of the Oi-gawa River, and many other artificial reservoirs, including Lake Ikawa-ko and Lake Hatanagi-ko, provide scenic spots which attract many visitors, especially during the peak season for the autumn-colored maple trees.

This has the unique feature of Takeda style castle, especially crescent moat. This castle has 3 layered crescent moats that is very unique to this castle. There is Tenshu as the historical museum. Moats and baileys are remaining in the great condition. Sakura or cherry blossoms are very beautiful here early in April.
