Zingerman's Roadhouse serves outstanding American comfort food. Like the original deli downtown, it's an Ann Arbor icon of restaurants and is usually busy. They take reservations, though. It's a little pricey but worth it for a treat.

There are two Knight's Steakhouses in Ann Arbor...this is the one downtown and it's the newest and more "modern" one. Great menu...lots of sandwiches and burgers too. They are known for their very generous pours at the bar too. @strongdrinks is their Twitter handle!
