Restauranten på Skarsnuten kan i tillegg til «bygdas beste utsikt», tilby mat laget med passjon basert på mat fra lokale leverandører og ikke minst mat laget fra bunnen.
I restauranten tilbyr vi frokost, brunch(søndager), lunsj og middag. I sommerhalvåret er restauranten åpen i juli for frokost og middag. Utover denne perioden er restauranten kun åpen for forhåndsbestilte grupper.
Restauranten er åpen for både besøkende og hotellets gjester.

Stavkroa – “ski-in, dance-out” – is an après-ski complex spread over three floors, with a huge nightclub (open special weekend events and holiday periods), the smaller Stavkroa Kitchen Bar club downstairs, and the quieter Stavkroa saloon in the basement.
The huge nightclub area has been voted one of the best après-ski bars in Europe, and is built in the style of a medieval “stave” church, with a 65ft space between revellers and the ceiling. This void has a DJ perched high up, almost in the rafters, and is strafed with a dazzling array of multi-coloured lighting, giving the whole jam-packed interior a wild, frenetic yet friendly ambience.

Borgund stavkirke er en stavkirke på Borgund i Lærdal kommune, Sogn og Fjordane. Borgund er den best bevarte av de norske stavkirkene.
Kirken blir første gang nevnt i skriftlige kilder i 1342, men det er vanlig å datere den til perioden 1150–1200. Dendrokronologiske undersøkelser (årringdatering) har vist at tømmeret som ble brukt til bygging av kirken ble felt vinteren 1180–1181. Kirken må derfor være bygget i perioden like etter dette, og trolig i god tid før 1200. Kirken er viet til apostelen Andreas.

Rjukandefossen er en imponerende og kraftfull dobbeltløpet foss med 18 meters fall ned gjennom et trangt gjel.
Ved fossen er det flere jettegryteformasjoner, samt en spennende hengebru. Fossen har stor vannføring det meste av sommeren.
Fossen ligger på Tuv ved Rjukandefoss Camping (Rv 52), se skilting. Fossen kan ikke sees fra veien, følg skogsti ca 200 m fra parkeringsplassen.

The Lærdal Tunnel (Norwegian: Lærdalstunnelen) is a 24.51-kilometre-long (15.23 mi) long road tunnel connecting Lærdal and Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane. It is the longest road tunnel in the world, succeeding the Swiss Gotthard Road Tunnel. The tunnel carries two lanes of European Route E16 and represents the final link on the new main highway connecting Oslo and Bergen without ferry connections and difficult mountain crossings during winter.

The round-trip Vindhella – Sverrestigen is one of the most popular along Kongevegen across Filefjell, leading through a vast historical landscape.
The route follows Vindhella one way and Sverrestigen the other. You can start in either direction by Rimskjold/Husum in the west or by Borgund Stave Church in the east. Alternatively, you can start the round-trip at the actual Vindhellavegen starting point, 350 metres east of the stave church visitor centre.
