This is one of the most beautiful and most popular hikes on the island. The trail is suitable for most skill levels. There is a boardwalk with steps at headland and is rated to be easy. The tail can either be done as a 7.4 km (4.7 mi) return trip or a 9.2 km (5.6 mi) loop, taking approximately 2-3 hours. There are trail maps along the route. This trail overlooks the rugged coast giving you an eagle’s view of the Cabot Trail.
