Open during most of the summer season, La Pizzeta is a Begur classic, with plenty of different food options to suit everyone, and not limited to pizzas, as the name might suggest. Kids-friendly, with a large indoor and outdoor seating area, a garden area for kids to play, it’s a safe bet for families and if you don’t know what you would like to eat.

Can Torrades is another Begur classic which offers simple Catalan cuisine, with grilled meats and locally-sourced ingredients. The inside seating area is in authentic Begur-style architecture, which is in itself worth the visit. Affordable and popular, it’s best to book ahead!

Can Torrades is another Begur classic which offers simple Catalan cuisine, with grilled meats and locally-sourced ingredients. The inside seating area is in authentic Begur-style architecture, which is in itself worth the visit. Affordable and popular, it’s best to book ahead!
Begur’s only Japanese-inspired restaurant, Can Kai is located right next to Can Torrades and offer very decent sushi, sashimi and Asian-style options.

Simply the best fish restaurant in Begur! Locally-caught fishes, cooked on the grill or in the oven, and mixed with locally-sourced ingredients. It’s relatively expensive, but worth it if you like fish. Restaurant is quite small and gets booked quickly.

In my humble opinion, Can Climent / Platillos is the best restaurant in Begur. Carefully crafted “tapas” dishes with unusual flavour combinations make it for a mouth-watering experience that needs to be lived at least once in a lifetime.
