Sharkeys is a fun spot at the Venice Fishing Pier and only a few miles from the house. Great seafood, good menu and fun outside Tiki Bar with frozen drinks you can take on the Pier. Locations is great and it is always a fun experience. Great place to go on the first night there.

Great place to for everyone on the intercoastal waterway, close to the North Jetty. Great food, multiple Tiki Bars, areas inside and outside to eat, right on the waterway. Good souvenir shopping . Fun!

You get to see beautiful houses from the waterside, you will see dolphins and manatees and the “cruise director” does a great job

Here is where the intercoastal waterway goes out to the ocean. There is a walkway down the jetty, one side is rocks that you can fish off of and the other side is part of Nokomis Beach. Boats going in and out and almost every time we see dolphins or manatees swimming in and out of the channel. Lots of pelicans and shells. Something for everyone to do.

Located at the end of downtown Venice, nice laid-back beach, our favorite spot to watch the sunset. Often if we are staying home for dinner we will jump in the car with a chair or blanket and drive to Venice to watch the sunset, no prep needed.
