Just a few blocks from our airbnb, Sevier Park is a nice walk with the historic "Mary Benton's Sunnyside Mansion" at the top of the hill. This park is at the south end of the downtown 12 South area and can be reached via 12 south avenue or 10th avenue south.

A small picturesque lake just about 4 miles outside of the 12 South area. (Easy) hiking trails and also a cement pathway for walking/ biking around the lake. We've seen bald eagles, otters, and turtles!

New, busy, full of modern shops, restaurants and apartment buildings. The Gulch is a great "day spot" to cruise around and check out the shops, or get a drink on the W Rooftop bar or the LA Jackson rooftop bar (Thompson hotel). Beware, it get's pretty touristy! The Gulch is where you'll find some of the classic Nashville murals (wings) that you see people posing with!
