Next door to Bistro Lotte , Bar Lotte is. classic french bar/brasserie with a classic brasserie menu. We tried the Fondue last winter...properly done with Gruyere, Comté and Emmental. Delicious!

Evelyn Waugh made his conversion to Catholicism here in Mells. Fantastic pub/restaurant called The Talbot. Wonderful walks up and down Frome in the valley through the limestone gorges, and ruins of old mills.
