Welcome to Karlbergsvägen 45
We really hope you will feel at home here and that you will have a wonderful stay in Stockholm. This building was built between 1902-1906 for executive managers in the traditional porcelain factory Rörstrands Porslinsfabrik, which closed in 1926. Over the years the building has been carefully renovated and now serves as homes for families and couples of all ages. The location here in Birkastan is ideal. Close to everything like the city centre, old town, the royal castle and lush green areas of Vasaparken, Hagaparken and the park of Karlbergs Castle. This is also one of Stockholm's most trendy areas with boutiques, coffee shops, bars and restaurants just outside the door.
Here in Birkastan, there are numerous places to eat and drink. Most of them are good, but as always some are better than others. A good idea is to stroll along the lovely Rörstrandsgatan with all its restaurants and vibrant street life. Here is a list with our favourite places in the neighbourhood. Enjoy!

Nice parks in the hoods
Take a walk down the waterfront and the Karlberg Slott. In the summer time it's a lot of people swimming in the canal, and having there BBQ along the water front. Karlberg slott is a military academy for second lieutenants studying to become first lieutenants, so you will see a lot of military personel moving about in the area.
