Really enjoyed this museum that told the fascinating history of Livorno, which helped contextualise a lot of the sights of the city. Great contemporary art space as well, so you can enjoy everything from Neolithic finds to award winning art of the modern day.

Lovely place to see. Has restaurants and bars along the river path. Stopped off at a bar for a few cocktails. They were lovely and beautiful atmosphere at night.

There are some great places to stop and swim in the sea on the drive down to Rome from Pisa. The water is amazingly warm- just follow what the locals do; park anywhere and walk down to the water.

It's right on the canal in the Venetian sector with much rustic charm. Lovely ambiance sat eating and drinking on a floating pontoon beside the bar and restaurant which used to be an old storage for salt that was brought in by barges.
