A place you might consider stopping at is Cape Perpetua with a spectacular view from top. Below it is a visitor center that can instruct you what to see. ALSO, Shore Acres (in the Cape Arago Park) near Coos Bay has an unusual outcropping where the waves crash unusually high.

In my own backyard, literally! A great place to hike from the treehouse. Walk south following trail map that I provide to the top for a beautiful view (this is considered the North trail). But don't stop there! Continue hiking South for the best part Cape Sebastian has to offer. You can cheat & simply drive to the parking lot & hike in either direction. My recommendation however is the South side. You'll understand when you get there.
