Tyabb Airport is great to sit and watch the wonderful vintage planes, or watch students learning to take off and land. They have a great little coffee cart cafe where you can get something to eat and drink while watching the planes. They also host a biannual Airshow which is spectacular.

Beaches
This is a lovely quiet (ish) beach. If you go early in the morning, you might get to see Horses being taken for a swim! It can have a bit more seaweed, but is still a lovely spot, and then close to Balnarring Village for a browse around the shops.

We love this beach as its quite, across the road from a great cafe and is a nice walk.
This is probably my most frequent beach with the kids. Its shallow for ages, often flat, and has a carpark and pavement from the shower block to the car- so no sandy bodies jumping in the car! It can be busy, but we still love it.

We love this beach as it has the massive playground behind it so you can do both. It also has a shower block, so can rinse off after a long beach play. Like Mornington, it has great shallow areas and is often flat.

Mornington Main St is a great shopping and cafe strip. Over summer they block off the main st so its open to pedestrians. There is a great atmosphere and its filled with vibrant shops. It also has a great playground and beach at the end for the kids.

If you are gluten free (like me) you will be over the moon with this find! You can honestly feel like you have walked into the most beautiful bakery, and you can have anything! Such a great asset to the area.

Sightseeing
At the end of Wellington Rd (which winds left from The Little Wedge Farm), you will find the end of the Oliver's Creek Bushland Track. This is a lovely little bush walk where you should be able to hear and see lots of the beautiful local birds.

Another local bush walk. You could ride your bike or drive to this one. You need to go most of the way up Clifford Drive in Tyabb and on your right hand side you will find an entrance. This is such a fantastic walk - especially if you have kids in tow, as it feels a bit like a magical wonderland with little bridges, streams, and valleys between tall trees to explore. Kids can play here for hours.

9 Clifford DriveAnother local bush walk. You could ride your bike or drive to this one. You need to go most of the way up Clifford Drive in Tyabb and on your right hand side you will find an entrance. This is such a fantastic walk - especially if you have kids in tow, as it feels a bit like a magical wonderland with little bridges, streams, and valleys between tall trees to explore. Kids can play here for hours.
This is a beautiful bush walk by the beach in Frankston South. Once you start the walk and find the beautiful creek among the boulders, you feel like you're in the middle of no where. I love it here.
