Real austrian food on top of Egger Alm
Zum Rudi
A, exhilarating, drive up the mountain to Egger Alm (skip if you don't like quite some turns and climbs) , is not complete without a visit to Rudi. He has an alm hutte and serves you authentic Austrian food (Kaiserschmarn, Knodel, Sausage and saurerkraut)with a nice beer. He also rents out a cabin for Markus, so it is possible to book a stay there.

Villach it's self is not the most interesting city, but the Wok comes very recommended. The food is always of good quality, the prices are fair and the people friendly. The restaurants has a nice ambiance.

A fun place to take kids. You get entrance to the museum and at the end, you get tools to find your own granits. Closeby is a good restaurant called Charlie's Restaurant.

The elevator can be expensive, but you can also drive up the mountain if you take a right when you leave Sieglinde.
