Excellent sushi walking distance from the condo. Hibachi is also fun. Reservations recommended. I was dubious about sushi in the mountains, but they do a good job. Service is great.

The food is great, but do yourself a favor and order it way ahead of time and take it to go. They are very nice, but I've gone there many times and they have the slowest service of any restaurant I've been to. (See my other recommendation for pho if you want to dine in the restaurant.)

An amazing library is kiddie-corner across the street from our condo. The basement has big chairs for reading in case you've had too much "togetherness" at the condo. The large kids section should have any kid just begging to get off their screens.
