Bomas of Kenya is home to one of largest auditorium in Africa and is located approximately 10km from the Central Business District. The talented resident artists at this cultural centre perform traditional dances and songs taken from the country’s various tribal groups, including Arabic-influenced Swahili taarab music, Kalenjin warrior dances, Embu drumming and Kikuyu circumcision ceremonies, convenient for a spectacular afternoon out. The complex consists of a number of bomas (villages), each constructed in the architectural style of Kenya's major ethnic groups.

People who come to this place enjoy food at these world famous brands such as MacDonald’s. The most remarkable attraction is perhaps the dancing color fountain quite similar to Dubai’s Sharjah Fountain. The riverfront is also complete with flumes. It is quite a sight to behold at night and the lights are on. People can have a look at the upmarket neighborhood of Runda, Nyari, Gigiri and Muthaiga that surround the mall.
