Shopping

Just 19 miles NW of Thomaston (US 74) you'll find the neat little town of Woodbury. Even though the Walking Dead is filmed in Senoia Georgia, the comic book says it's in Woodbury (claim to fame). Nevertheless, right smack downtown, you'll find 3 or 4 antique shops with some really neat finds and some of the nicest folks you'll meet in this area. Worth the drive!!! One of the outdoor statue's at Ms. Annie's is from High Cotton in Woodbury.

Entertainment & Activities

First run digital movies in an honest to goodness old-timey movie theater. Low low prices, kid and family friendly. On the West side of the square.

Food Scene

Excellent Japanese food that's fresh and reasonably priced. The restaurant is behind McDonalds on the North end of town in a strip mall. It's a little on the small size so we typically do pick-up.

Fresh fresh seafood restaurant that's owned and operated by the Davison family. A local favorite!!! You'll think you're in Florida. They don't fry anything and everything is most excellent. The entire family will enjoy this restaurant. They have a nice selection of beer and wine and located on the North side of town. Just 3 miles from Ms. Annie's. My personal favorite.
