Food is good but if the weather is nice and you want to enjoy a nice sunset, this is our favorite spot. The lawn has chairs you can set up along the Ohio river overlooking Indiana and the sunset is beautiful.

This area is known as Bardstown Road. This area has some of the best food in Louisville and a good nightlife. If you are going out on a weekend night, I would suggest an Uber as parking can be a little bit of a pain. Get dropped off at "The Eagle" and find something you like! Here is a great link to all the restaurants in the area. (https://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=restaurants&find_loc=Bardstown+Road%2C+Louisville%2C+KY)

This hotel has a bar in the bridge connecting the two buildings. The bar has a beautiful view overlooking the Ohio River. We call this place "The Fish Bar" because the bar counter on a just a fish tank. Worth stopping by for a beer before/after dinner.

Don't have time to do the whole 'Bourbon Trail'? This is a great place to get an idea of how bourbon is made and its history. Do you know the difference between bourbon and whiskey?
