You can take a short boat ride from Mudeford or park at Hengistbury Head and walk along the clifftop or beach. There is also a small train that can take you one or both ways. Hiker Cafe and Beach House Restaurant both good. Also the Noisy Lobster on Avon Beach which is great for children.
