Enjoy stunning views of limestone cliffs on the edge of the Cedar River. There are hiking trails and picnic tables near the river. This is actually where Theo and I got married!

The Cedar Rapids library is newly constructed and truly stunning! A great place to go to get some work done or just read a good book. There is also a little local cafe in the library that serves good sandwiches and smoothies.

Admission here is included with your ticket to the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art. I recommend touring the studio after viewing some of Grant Wood's art in the museum. It's very neat how they've restored the studio to how it was when Grant and his mother lived there.

The "mountain" you can see from many places in Cedar Rapids is actually a capped landfill. Hence the affectionate nickname given by the locals, Mt. Trashmore.
