This was the old Savannah power plant that sat abandoned until recently. I was lucky tour the place several times throughout the process of cleaning and converting this place. It is so cool i love old industrial buildings and they did an excellent job preserving the aesthetics and character. Not to mention the geological wonders on display such as dinosaurs, giant geodes and fossils,etc. on the river with outdoor and indoor restaurants and a rooftop bar.

This is one of my favorite places to take people when they are visiting. The views of the river from the rooftop are beautiful and I love the decor and scenery. they make a mean dirty martini.

Short walking distance from the house. This burger joint is in the American Legion. It has cool wartime posters and AMAZING burgers. The house made veggie burger is #1. They serve food later than many restaurants which is convenient and they also deliver. Family friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and there is a separate cash bar in the building with cheap drinks and beer. ($2 well drinks)
