Our local jazz festival is one of my favorite events of the summer. Not into "jazz", no problem, the jazz festival incorporates many styles of music which are always fantastic. While most people have to fight for (and pay for) parking, you can walk to many of the venues easily from here.

As a former Captain of this ship, I can highly recommend this relaxing and enjoyable excursion up and down our beautiful river. You'll not only enjoy a view of the city from a unique perspective, you'll learn about some of the history attached to our city and river.
If you're here during an evening, I recommend a dinner cruise. If you have an afternoon available I recommend teaming a sightseeing cruise with a live Shakespearian play afterwards, right next door! My most favorite cruise is the Captain's Brunch should you be around on a Sunday morning. Plan ahead, you'll want to book tickets far in advance in order to get one of the meal cruises.

The Prairie Lily
