Parks & Nature
Whenever I need a dose of nature, it's a short walk to Namsan Park. Seoul Tower is touristy and crowded, but the rest of the park is tranquil. I love running off trail too, it's a short 2km loop that ends near my house. The park is massive. Most Thursdays I explore a mountain in Seoul with a hiking group, guests are welcome to join. :)

The famous Myeongdong shopping district is a quick bus ride from the house. (Two bus stops, right through the tunnel.)

Arts & Culture
Historical Korean village still occupied today. Popular attraction for visitors (sweet photo ops!) Located in adorable Insa-dong district. I like visiting the area for a dose of culture and shopping for unique traditional trinkets and street snacks.

Itaewon is where you'll find me & my roommates on a Saturday night. Definitely cannot say you've been to Seoul without partying (or at least taking a stroll) in Itaewon. Seoul even designated Itaewon as its first ‘Special Tourism District.'
I prefer to visit at night for the beautiful lights, and definitely stray from the beaten path (main street) & explore the many twisted alley ways and hidden gems.
