"Ekkamai is a great area to walk around, seeing as there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore. However, Bangkok's sun can be quite unforgiving in the summer - so here are some of our recommendations for getting around Bangkok: 1 - Train (BTS and MRT) - Bangkok's public transportation is accessible to most of the city. It's also clean and fast, though beware of the rush hours in the morning and the evening - it can get quite packed. 2 - Metered Taxis - You can always find a metered taxis in Ekkamai.
